Lava Canyon! Located in the Mount St. Helens National Park, Lava Canyon was discovered after the 1980 blast. This is a three part hike that caters to everyone. The first part is paved and is accessible to anyone using wheelchairs people with mobility issues. The second part is harder, but ends in a stunning trip across a suspension bridge. The third part is rough. You have to cling to the side of the canyon for most of it, but it brings you to a ladder so you can descend to the bottom of the canyon. I love Mount St. Helens and all the surrounding visitor centers and hikes. Also, some great camping locations with awesome swimming. When I was a kid a vacation was judged on swimming. There better be some water I can jump into.
