Welcome back to Backtalk’s 2015 reading challenge, in which we attempt to read harder instead of simply reading more. More information can be found at Bookriot or at the read harder tag here on Backtalk.

The end is in sight! How are your challenges coming along?

Last month I read a book originally published in another language: The Shadow of The Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, which to be honest is one of the better books I’ve read this year. It’s another book about books and reading, and that alone puts it right up my alley.

I’m currently about halfway through Vampires in the Lemon Grove, a collection of short stories by Karen Russell, an author under 25, and I'm enjoying it so far.

Let me know what you’ve been reading!
