Getting the best of you.

This week is National Banned Book Week and we are celebrating reading in my classroom. I’ve pulled a ton of books that have either been challenged or banned from libraries/schools across the United States, and we are discussing censorship. Students researched why certain books are considered “bad”; they can’t believe the ludicrous reasons! I’ve even enticed some students to read a few books. What a great day to be a book pusher!
