I could have gone on forever.... :) I tried to go for variety in the brief time I had. One thing I really love doing, and do nowhere near enough of, is tide pooling at the beach. I love crouching down low, looking at all the life going on. The picture of the little girl caught the wonder, if not the wonder of the 'pool itself. I was really moved by the colors in Wikman's piece, and kinda wanted to post nothing but Karuk baskets. I could have done more architecture, more Haida work (none here, but it's been featured in the past). Such a rich, fertile topic for the arts. :) Please enjoy! Share what's moved you, share a favorite west coast related art piece, and as always, you can find previous weeks' visual arts posts under that tag.
