As I know the denizens of Backtalk are literate and literary, I thought we could share some of our favorite blue books?
Currently one book comes to mind: Sacre Bleu by Christopher Moore.
More than just its blue cover, the book itself features the color-obsessed Impressionist painters and does a great deal of service to how colors are made and sought after by artists. The book’s title refers to a color of blue so blue it’s the bluest blue of all the blues! Throw in a murder mystery centered around Vincent van Gogh and hanging around Paris with Henri Toulouse-Letrec and you have a grand comic adventure.
What are your blue books?
