Since I'm gonna be busy watching movies and handing out candy, no Vintage Game Night tonight. Instead, in order to help combat the increasing stupidity of an extremely vocal minority of people who play video games, we're going to take a look at some great games featuring women protagonists/antagonists.
In the interest of time (and my sanity) we'll go ahead and exclude games that let you choose your character's gender.
Portal 1 / Portal 2
Available On: PC, XBox 360, PlayStation3
Genre: Puzzle, Platforming
The greatest set of puzzle games ever. You play as Chell and use a gun that can open portals connecting two points to solve an ever increasingly difficult number of puzzles given to you by the villainous AI GLaDOS as you try to escape the Aperture Science Testing Facility.
While Chell is your common mute protagonist (something poked fun at often), GLaDOS is simply an amazingly well fleshed out character and one of (in my opinion) the greatest antagonists in gaming.
Silent Hill 3

Genre: Survival Horror
Directly continuing the story of the original game, Heather Mason, daughter of original protagonist Harry Mason, is haunted by dreams full of monsters. After being targeted by a mysterious cult and a personal tragedy befalls her, she travels to the town of Silent Hill to take revenge and discover the truth behind who she really is.

All while running for their lives as all of Cocoon is on the hunt for them.
